Spring 2022

There are few colleges that are still accepting the application if your interested to apply then ping us on our Instagram incorebmedia we will provide you with the list of available universities. The general timeline to apply for spring intake is between 15th June to 1st Oct.

Fall 2022

The right time to apply for fall 2022 is now. You should start your application and try to complete it by mid-December or Jan 1st week. However, deadlines for fall intake are till march 1st week but if you wait for deadlines you would miss out on your admits. Even if you get it it's highly difficult to bag a scholarship.

Advice:

If you have a medium profile apply as early as possible. It will help you to secure a admit as USA public universities generally consider applications in priority deadlines. Generally, the priority deadline ends a month or 20 days before the main deadline.

Check the university website for exact dates.

GRE and IELTS or TOEFL

Most of the students might have this question since most of the universities are waiving GRE Is it okay If I just apply with IELTS or TOEFL score?

will I get admits or is important to write GRE?

If you are applying to fall 2022, I would suggest you go ahead with GRE as you still have time till November.

Advantages for taking GRE

  • Adds value to your profile

  • Even if you have a low GPA or average academic profile a good GRE score can help you get good admits

  • It helps you in visa interviews as you look more competent candidates hence getting a visa acceptance increase.

  • It can help you get TA positions.

When should you apply without GRE?

Scenario 1:

If your profile is good and you don't have time to take GRE. Only then consider the option of going without GRE.

Scenario 2:

If your GRE score is below 295 and your overall profile is good.

What does a good profile look like

A good profile is a combination of academic and non-academic performance.

Additionally, you can have research papers, projects, internships, certifications.

Let's see everything one by one.

1)Academic research papers

Research paper should match your graduate course major.

  • one is good adds value to your profile

  • Two makes up a really strong profile

  • Three your profile is outstanding, and if you have a well-drafted sop you are bound to get an admit.

2)CGPA

Anything above 8.2 is good

3)Internship:

If you have an internship and a supporting letter it is great if you don't it is still fine.Try to do a technical internship.

4)Projects:

Quantity is not important. Consider working on quality projects as you could only mention 2-3 projects in your sop remaining everything goes in resume.

What does quality projects look like?

Divide your projects into two categories.

  1. Projects for your sop

  2. Projects for your resume

Do not repeat projects in the resume and sop as the admission committee does not want to go through the same information again and again.

If you are applying to computer science you can have few projects on the below topics.

  • machine learning,

  • Data science,

  • artificial intelligence,

  • natural language processing,

  • Blockchain,

  • cross-platform based web application

Note:

pleases never consider an HTML website or a small android app to be a great project they are too basic and you are applying for a graduate course

Projects: 2 project mini and major

IELTS 6-6.5
